Daydream Adventure: Marina Bay Sands

Maybe it is the Pisces in me, but I’ve always been drawn to water…oceans, lakes, aquariums, swimming pools!  I am also deeply intrigued by unique architecture.  So in today’s daydream, I am combining the two and taking you to…

Marina Bay Sands – a luxury hotel in Singapore – that is home to a 150 meter infinity swimming pool…oh, did I forget to mention that it’s also 200 meters in the air!

The structure was designed by Boston-based internationally renowned architect Moshe Safdie.  The top, really, resembles a boat.  The base is representative of three cricket wickets – or six 55-story legs!!  In addition to the rooftop infinity pool, it’s also home to a museum, shopping mall, casino, theaters, nightlight – basically Vegas in ONE building.

*SIGH* – I do love to daydream…and I hope you enjoyed exploring with me!

My Daydream List is just that – a list of adventures and places that would otherwise fill my bulletin boards, drawers, and notebooks. It includes rugged terrain and serene beaches, oceanic endeavors and oriental exploration — anything and everything that makes my heart beat faster. It is not a bucket list, there is no box to be checked, or expectation to be filled. Instead, it is a list of opportunities, and I hope to take on several of them in my lifetime. ~Adapted from 4th & Flatiron’s Adventure List! She stated exactly what I was thinking!! ~
