Daydream: La Montaña Mágica Lodge, Chile

Today I’m dreaming about this fantasy lodge in Chile – which is a hotel built in a man-made volcano that spews water instead of lava, is covered in rainforest moss and vines, and is accessible via a monkey bridge!  You can soak in outdoor hot tubs carved from the trunks of giant trees, playing “Spot the Puma” or any of the other wildlife species that roam near the Lodge – including the world’s tiniest deer, the pudú, which stands about 13 inches tall!  Nearby you can hike trails or brave the longest zip-line in South America, which runs just shy of 1,500 feet!  And at the end of the day, you can retire to your volcano and dine on Chilean specialties like the pastel de papas (a potato tart) and then fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall rushing right outside your window.  *Sigh*  How fun!!!  (Source)
