Leave It All On The Road // 07.20.2015

Hello friends!  It’s time for my fitness recap for the last two weeks.  34 days until the Edmonton Half Marathon!  55 days until the Dinosaur Valley Half Marathon!  97 days until the Rock’n’Roll Vancouver Half Marathon!

14.5 miles Walk
12.6 miles Stationary Bike

I’m linking up with Road Runner Girl for The Weekly Chase and with Jesica from rUnladylike for Week-in-Review, in the hopes that setting goals will help keep me on track throughout the week!

Where I struggled:

Getting in the miles.  I know the general consensus is quality over quantity…to get in the proper number of runs, even if it isn’t always the distance/pace you want…to train your body to adapt to running and improve over time, but all I seem to eek out these days is runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  I need to work on getting in consistent miles throughout the week.

Thought for the week ahead:


This week’s goals:

  1. Strength train 3 days this week!
  2. Drink plenty of H2O every single day!
